Porter Air Offers $59 Tickets From Toronto to New York (and back)—Book Before July 23
Porter Airlines, which flies out of the tiny (and super-convenient) Toronto City Centre Airport, just minutes from downtown, is offering $59 one-way tickets to Newark Airport and back. (Newark Airport, while located in New Jersey, is one of the NYC-area airports and is actually much closer to the city centre than other airports located within New York!) Book by July 23 for this deal.
This is a good price for a NY-Toronto trip. Like every airline, Porter will put taxes and fees on top of their published fares. In this case the total is around $160. Remember, the very lowest fares may not be available on all days, and you might have to do some digging for the best deal.

I think this $160 price is one way...with taxes at the $59 fare, the total come to $313 or something for a round trip.

Agreed. Not false advertising, but pretty darn close.
Actually, what might be false is them listing NY as a destination in the heading. The dang plane lands in Newark, NJ (I know they explain it as being close to NY, but it’s no fun getting across the river....).
I think this airline will be going the way of the Rochester ferry....
